Modelled after Turkey’s famous Selimiye Camii Mosque, the Nizamiye Turkish Masjid in Midrand is the biggest mosque complex in the Southern hemisphere. Built by a Turkish philanthropist, Nizamiye boasts a number of exquisite stained-glass windows, 21 small domes with marbled features and mosaic artworks.
